Selecting A Whiksy More Your Bloke

Selecting a malt whisky for your bloke for can be a bit of a challenging adventure. You don't want to select a whiksy that he does not like but you also don't want to buy him a whisky that he already has. However, truth-be-told, us bloke's would rather have doulbe the amount of whisky that we like then having a bottle that we don't like.

A simple idea for selecting a whisky is to buy him a gift pack of a variety of whisky's. This gives him a sampling of a distillery and allows him to try a variety of different types of whisky's. You could take this one step further and tell him that you'll buy a bottle of his favorite whisky from the sample-pack.

If you're looking for a sample pack we recomend the following three distilleries

• Glenmorangie - Pack is comprised of Original, Lasanta, Quinta Ruban and Netar D'or.
• Bowmore Gift Pack - A quarter-bottle each of the new Bowmore 12yo, 15yo Darkest and 18yo.
• Talisker Gift Pack - Pack is comprised of 10yo, 18yo and Distiller's Edition 1993

Selecting a Malt Whiksy can be stressful for some people, however, it shouldn't be. Remember that you're buying him a gift that he'll love because it's coming from you. However, if you put a bit of work into finding his favorite whisky or buying a sample pack you konw that he'll like the gift even more!
